RS232-FT1.2 interface to KNX/EIB for programming with ETS
Using RS232-FT1.2 to KNX/EIB interface it is possible to read/write to KNX/EIB objects, program KNX/EIB devices from ETS software, monitor the bus etc.
Note! Please make sure there are no serial converters (e.g. RS232->USB) in between ETS application and KNX/EIB bus. ETS programming works only if there is RS232 interface on the PC.

Examples
Connect to bus from ETS:
To use RS232-FT1.2 interface to access KNX/EIB bus, the device should be added into ETS Connection Manager.
- Go to Extras -> Options -> Communication -> Configure interfaces
- Put some freely chosen Name for the connection
- Chose Type = RS232 FT1.2
- Choose Device from the list
- Press OK
- Back in Options -> Communication window select newly created interface as Communication Interface from the drop-down menu
- To test the communication with ETS, press Test button
